This year, TechRemove has partnered with the City of O’Fallon, MO to offer bi-monthly drop off events for residents. These events are held 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the big parking lot adjacent to CarShield Field at the southwest corner of T.R. Hughes Blvd. and Tom Ginnever Ave. Please follow signage to the drop-off location. Below are the dates and times for these events as well as items accepted, any items that will incur a charge to be dropped off, as well as items that we are unable to accept. What’s Accepted?

Recycle just about any item with an electrical cord or that takes a battery, including household appliances, water heaters, furnaces, air conditioners, microwaves, kitchen appliances, computers, computer monitors (including CRTs), printers, keyboards, laptops, hard drives, scanners, DVDs, cell phones, pagers, fax machines, answering machines, radios, stereos, speakers, VCRs, power tools, lawn and garden equipment (yard equipment must have gas and oil removed) and LED/LCD TVs. These events are open to everyone; you do not need to be an O'Fallon resident to attend! 

Accepted For A Fee:

• LED/LCD/Plasma televisions = $20.00

• CRT Monitors = $5.00

• CRT TV’s 26” or less = $30.00

• CRT TV’s 27” or greater = $50.00

• Wood Console and True Big Screen/Projection TV’s = $50.00

• Any freon containing unit = $10.00

• All printers, copiers, MFP's = $5.00

• Tanning beds with lamps = $150.00

• Vape pens = $1.00

• Straight linear flourescent bulbs = $0.33 per foot

• U-Tube, Biax, CFL, circular flourescent, incadescent, quartz, halogen bulbs = $1.23

• HID, Mercury, metal halide, LPS, HPS, shielded, coated bulbs = $3.19

• LED bulbs = $1.39

• Ultraviolet, tanning bed, arc, ignitron, germidal, projection bulbs = $7.85

  No Broken Bulbs or Lamps Will Be Accepted.

Items Not Accepted:

• Smoke detectors

• Magnetic Media (VHS tapes, cassette tapes, floppy disks)

• Optical discs (CD/DVD)

• Ink/toner cartridges

• Coax/fiber optic cable

• Alkaline batteries

• Lithium primary batteries

• Dry NiCd batteries

• Button cell batteries
